Madison St., #203B Specialty/Practice DescriptionI am a licensed psychotherapist in private practice in the Madison Valley neighborhood of Seattle. I have an undergraduate degree in journalism and worked as a writer and editor before getting my master’s in counseling at Bastyr University in 2003. I also completed a master’s (2005) and doctorate (2009) degree in mythology and depth psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute in California. I am currently a candidate at Northwest Psychoanalytic Society and Institute. My clinical experience includes community mental health and inpatient psychiatric settings. I work with adolescents and adults in my general practice, with an emphasis in understanding one’s experience in order to better manage difficulty. Applebaum, M. (2009).
